If you are at all serious about music and your mixes you will have already heard and probably even used soundcloud before and know exactly what it is all about. For those that do not know anything about what soundcloud has to offer, I will try to explane briefly what it is, and does.
Soundcloud.com is website for music enthusiasts, mainly unknown DJs and producers trying to get their sound heard, they offer free hosting for your files and a nice profile page that displays your music in a very attractive yet simple audio player. You can also connect it with your social network, facebook, twitter, and youtube to name a few. you can follow your favorite artists and join various groups or invite your friends and family to follow you, and create your own groups.
The free plan is limited to 120 mins per upload which is more than enough for most people, or you can pay quite a reasonable fee to get exactly what you need, there are another 4 plans to choose from.
Why are we telling you about soundcloud ?
Well... DJP members can now embed their soundcloud files into blog posts without using the embed code, all you need to do is insert the link with the following syntax and we will do the rest...
from adding your link your track will display like so
{soundcloud}http://soundcloud.com/deejayportal/dj-wayne-evans-oldskool-mix{/soundcloud}
so if any members want to bring there soundcloud to DJP, now you can.
