Pioneer has announced the Remix Station RMX-1000, a brand new external effects device designed to act as a live remixing and sampling unit in a DJ setup. Is it ready for primetime, and will the price match the feature set? Read on to find out and watch the star-studded promo video.
They're among Pioneer's most popular products, sought after by DJs who want equipment that looks as good as it sounds. With their superb high-definition audio, stunning club-quality effects and sleek user-friendly design, the industry-standard CDJ-2000 and DJM-900nexus offer the ultimate in style and substance.
We are now pleased to announce the release and immediate availablity of our new VirtualDJ skin, the Pioneer DDJ-V1 V1.0. This skin has been in the making for the past few months as time to work on it was limited and we wanted to get as many ideas into it as possible after releasing the beta.
The DDJ-ERGO allows any music enthusiast the cabability to make their own unique audio mixes. Incorporated with the Virtual DJ Limited Edition software package by Atomix Productions, the DDJ-ERGO controller lets consumers be imaginative with their music collection the moment they take the device from the box. The revolutionary controller also features MIDI functionality, making it easy to be utilized with other MIDI compatible DJ software.
Those industrious chaps at Pioneer have clearly been burning the midnight oil and working themselves into a sleep-deprived psychosis, judging by the amount of new releases of DJ-orientated kit coming from their HQ of late. Pioneer warned us a good few months ago about the imminent deluge of must-have DJ equipment coming our way, and it was no exaggeration! The quality and range of new releases from Pioneer recently has been quite amazing, especially with the new Traktor integration as seen on the DJM-900 Nexus, and their dedicated DDJ T1Traktor controller. The latest dark horse to be released from Pioneer’s stable is the DJM-T1, which continues the Traktor integration trend and is aimed directly at Traktor heads who still prefer to use the traditional two-deck/mixer style set-up and aren’t looking for the all-singing all-dancing CDJ2000/DJM-900 Nexus affair.
Pioneer has broke the mould once again with the release of the new DJM-250: the industry’s first sub-£500 mixer to boast two sound colour filters and a range of professional features.
One of the favourites among professional and bedroom DJs alike, quality filters are usually only seen on high-end mixers. But now with the Pioneer DJM-250 two-channel mixer, DJs can combine EQ effects with two filters to perform mixes that sound like they were meant to be.
Here is a sneak peak at our new skin for Virtual DJ 7. Based on Pioneer's DDJ-S1 controller for serato itch, we have called it the DDJ-V1.
At the moment its not completed and we still have a couple of days work on it, however we have decided to release a demo/beta for testing and a download link can be found in the Virtual DJ Skiners group. We would love to hear any feedback and suggestions for this and future vdj skins that we create
Pioneer has signalled its intention to take on the rest of the digital DJing market hard this Christmas by teasing a brand new two-channel controller, as this new video reveals.
The controller was first leaked by Pioneer Japan this week via their Twitter account, and as can be seen clearly in the video, is a direct shot across the bows of the Traktor Kontrol S2.
